Just a little about me ... I live in Wisconsin in the same town that I grew up in. I have been married for 22 years to my husband Bruce and we have 2 children. Our son Andy is 16, and our daughter Prairie is 13.
We live back in the woods in a log home that we share with our yellow lab, an array of cats and an assortment of wildlife, including deer, raccoon, turkey and fox. We all enjoy the seasons that Wisconsin has to offer and take advantage of them all. During the winter we can cross country ski out our back door or slide down a hill in our front yard. Okay, maybe we've outgrown the little hill in the front yard, but then we go to our local lake and sled down the hill onto the ice. Spring brings us the song of the spring peepers and the birds returning to the north and of course fishing. During the summer we love to go camping and snorkeling to some of the crystal clear lakes in the area. Fall brings us the beauty of the changing colors and hunting season. Anytime of the year you can find us enjoying a campfire and a s'more.
Our love of the outdoors and camping has taking us to many interesting places with the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming being our favorite. We frequent area State Parks and have camped at several National Parks. We also can be found camping in our backyard in our teepee whether it's summer or winter.
I'm a stay at home mom with my kids keeping me very busy. Between school activities, after school sports and dance classes, I make time for myself to do my favorite hobby of scrapbooking. Along with this hobby I also enjoy sewing, basket weaving and making jewelry. I've always loved photography and am now learning the wonderful new world of digital photography. A few unknown facts about me are: I like ironing, singing along loudly with the radio, books on cassette and dipping a spoon full of peanut butter into a bag of chocolate chips.
